IndianVoter / Non-Partisanship Policy

Explain the system.
Never campaign for a side.

The same evidentiary standard should apply regardless of party, person or ideology.

01 / Non-Partisanship Policy

Editorial independence

IndianVoter’s civic directory and explanatory work are independent of political parties and campaigns. Inclusion, omission and the availability of a photograph are not endorsements or judgments of merit.

02 / Non-Partisanship Policy

Consistent standards

We apply source, identity, attribution and correction standards across political affiliations. More accessible data for one institution or region must not be presented as evidence that another representative is inactive or less effective.

03 / Non-Partisanship Policy

What political colours mean

Party colours are navigation keys to a stated classification. A state’s CM-party colour does not claim that every seat is held by that party or that the map depicts a complete coalition. Colours do not express approval.

04 / Non-Partisanship Policy

Conflicts and commercial influence

Contributors should disclose relevant political, financial or personal conflicts before undertaking related work. Commercial arrangements must not buy a favourable factual record, suppress a supported correction or decide a data outcome. Paid or sponsored material, if introduced, must be clearly distinguished.

Challenge our treatment

If you believe comparable subjects have been treated inconsistently, send specific examples and source links through the grievance or correction topic. We review the evidence rather than the complainant’s political position.
