Accuracy is a process.
Corrections are part of it.

A practical route for challenging a field, an image, a source or an explanation.

Tell us exactly what is wrong

Use the correction topic in the contact form. Include the page URL, the field or sentence, the proposed correction and an authoritative supporting link. If the matter concerns an image, explain the identity mismatch or rights concern.

How we review a request

We compare the claim with the cited record and relevant newer or stronger evidence. We may ask for clarification. A campaign claim, unsupported allegation or request to remove an accurate public record does not establish an error by itself.

What may change

We may correct a transcription, update a source-returned field, add missing context, temporarily restrict a disputed item while investigating, or explain why the record is retained. We do not silently turn an unverified allegation into a factual finding.

Material corrections should be visible

A change affecting identity, office, affiliation, allegations or interpretation should carry an appropriate explanatory correction note. Typographical and formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice. Earlier versions may be retained internally for accountability.

Receipt and follow-up

A successful form submission provides a reference. The publishing team reviews the evidence and aims to give a reasoned response within 15 days; urgent privacy, safety and lawful-order matters are prioritised. Any legally required shorter period takes precedence. Quote your reference in follow-up messages.

Start with a specific question.

Include a page link and the information we need to understand your request.
